Hi Stitchbounce, I hope not but I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time either way.

Initially I thought Compass Club would just be the same but I’m thinking now that Newport Bay is officially a 4 Key hotel and Sequoia Lodge is still a 3 then maybe not as I’d imagine guests would maybe expect a bit more from the Compass club now that it has a higher rating than Golden Forrest 🤔?

Just to report back. We arrived this morning and we are in the club lounge now. Newport Bay is still doing cans of drink you can help yourself to. A range of fizzy and juices. However, they have rearranged their times and now only serve drinks from midday. There are also clauses for check in and check out day for when you can have drinks

The weather is rather humid, we've had a bit of rain. It's supposed to be worse tomorrow but hopefully should be ok. All I will say is the cans disappear very quickly. We went at 4pm, by about half past there were 5 cans left. I'm not sure if they were going to refill it but just for those who are thinking of it. Thank you very much x
