We were due to go this Easter and the prices just didn’t seem to drop, so we had to put the holiday on hold and are now arranging for August as the flights are much cheaper.

Travel Planners have great prices, we used them last year.

Try ringing them. I was being quoted loads online but when I called I got them over 50% cheaper

If your wife does not like flying why not look at Tui which is a Dreamliner which is nicer and faster.

I've just paid £5900 for 5 adults in PE with less than two months to go until departure date. That was not a sale price, and no reward miles used.
I'd hang on a little and wait to see if there is a sale or better deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong but surely at the time of the flights being released the tickets will be subject to a surge type pricing as pre-booked flights from package trips are ticketed and the airlines also expect those of us who have booked accommodation in advance to want to secure seats

Yeah I imagine so. The prices were just so high I cannot believe anyone would have considered them!

I don't think Tui fly in March.

We flew on the 28th March this year. Virgin prices were ridiculously high from Manchester when first released. They finally dropped in September and I paid £2200 for direct flights for 2 adults, 2 young adults and 1 child. You’re going before the main Easter holidays start so should be able to get a good price if you wait
