Toll Costs

Does anyone know what kind of cost it will be in tolls for the following journeys :-

Miami to Key West
Miami to Orlando

depends on the route you choose, and where you start of from

miami to key west, there are no tolls along US1 (the only route to key west) but it depends where you start at in miami.
If it's north of miami you may use the turnpike which is a toll road, down to the entrance to the Keys
but if you don't take that road, you can make it toll free

miami to orlando, again, it depends on the route. You have the toll free US27, or the turnpike (toll road, around $20 from miami to orlando)

you'll also have a toll road from disney to MCO if you drive that route at the end of your stay (something like $3 total)

make sure your rental company has a good toll scheme (alamo is king ) and avoid expensive rental companies like dollar or even avis.

Try using a route toll calculator - I have found these very handy - this is an example of one
