Any tips to avoid getting a sore throat?

DH swore by First Defence when he was travelling for work.

I pop a vitamin C and zinc effervescent tablet in my water bottle every morning and have found that I am getting much less colds and sore throats dice I have been doing it.

Start taking echinacea now! 😃 and for the next couple of weeks. It helps ward of getting colds and reducing symptoms.

I boil ginger in water for DS and store it in the fridge for him to drink regularly when he really can’t be having a sore throat!
Also we were told to give him pro biotics. I’m unsure how this helps tbh but it does seem to and I guess the stomach is supposed to be the second brain 🤷
