I thought it would be brilliant when my kids left school, and that we'd be finding £250 flights etc. Then our daughter became a primary school teacher herself. Then they found boyfriends so we just have to pay for more of them, at the most expensive time grrr.

I cant see a group option any more on my menu, maybe they don't exist any more.

Yup, WWE Wrestlemania is on Sunday 5th in Tampa. Hubby is into WWE, I love all things Orlando. Perfect

Getting in early on Sat 4th as we have a direct flight might mean we catch whatever show they are doing on the Saturday evening. Or if it’s hall of fame we won’t bother

I’ve had to book a hotel within walking distance of the stadium as I’ll need beer to manage to watch 7 hours of WWE!

TBH, the hotel prices in Tampa over Wrestlemania weekend are insane. I’m so pleased I got in early as hotels are now $1000+ for 2 nights. We’ve been to a few Wrestlemania’s and I’ve not seen price increases like this before.

I think virgin are having a laugh at the moment! I’m looking for 22/12-01/01 and prices are mental from MAN! Even from London aren’t great. I’ve been looking daily and this morning economy classic was over £1k... each! We did PE last month for less than this and our outbound was at Easter weekend. Economy light was slightly dearer than classic this morning too

To be honest other airlines aren’t much better but I can get London direct with VA or BA for about £1400. I’ve not done Xmas before so no idea if this is normal but we might be priced out

Getting Excited

Flights are becoming the bain of my life, I'm spending far too much time searching the internet! Not going to lie I'm getting a bit of a panic on now, we live in Newcastle always knew we wouldn't get a direct flight but flights reasonably priced have at least 2 changes or really long wait times. I'm praying the NCL-AMS-MCO comes down eventually if not I don't mind going from another airport x

i'm getting nervous now too

i'm worried that if I don't book soon all of the villas i've been looking at and hotel rooms will go. I've been watching flights for 3 or 4 years now and usually they are at a decent price at this stage x
