People with current reservations for October - December 2021
Thought I’d make this thread for people like me who managed to get their holidays moved, or who have reservations for after the period Disney has now blocked out.
Has anyone been contacted yet to say Disney won’t be honouring your reservations, or heard any rumours similar? |

I’m 22nd September till 7th October 2021
I’ve got full dining and a 14 day ticket and a wedding! So who knows what I’ll end up with. Not too fussed about the dining, but I must admit the reservation thing bothers me. I’d quite like it to be cancelled as my wedding is with virgin too so the whole lot will have to go! Either that or im tempted to move to a villa and have an entirely different holiday |

Excited about Disney
|
Hello, we rescheduled from this october to 8th October next year so we fall into that category. Package booked offsite with 14 day Disney tickets, I’ve heard rumours Disney will honour any tickets already booked.
We have paid almost all of the holiday but still have a small outstanding balance due to increased cost next year so be interesting if they ask us to pay that |

We’re 18th November 2021 for two weeks
I’m happier now the ticketing sites are advertising they can sell tickets for Oct-Dec 2021 for a few more days

Im booked 18 October offsite 14 days unlimited tickets deposit only paid.
Dont understand why these tickets only onsale few more days, whats the logic behind this! Is everyone who has a ticket at this point guaranteed park entry? Its worrying me that I pay balance then cant get a park reservation. |

Thanks for starting this thread. Its comforting to know there are others in the same situation and will be interesting to see what happens with our bookings.
We already rescheduled from April 2020 to November 2020. We lost free dining but kept the gift cards, and there was a free nights offer on, plus November was cheaper than April, so all in all it was almost the same price. But then I started to panic about going at all this year, so we rescheduled back in May, moving to November 2021. 11 nights at Yacht Club (just my mum & I), lost the gift cards this time, and paid to add the dining plan. Changed room category from Water to Garden view which covered most of the difference. We'd already paid the balance on the original April 2020 holiday, so each time they transferred the money to the new booking. "Bank of Disney" we call it, as they are keeping around £6000 "safe" for us! I will be devastated if they cancel all bookings for October 2021 onwards. I don't mind about the dining, we will just pay as we go and probably eat less! But My mum is so desperate to go before she turns 75 at the end of next year, making the whole insurance issue a lot more difficult. My father died last June and it's been a terrible year. Can't tell you how much we needed this holiday. But we will have to wait and see I guess. I managed to speak to a cast member on the phone today but they knew nothing. They were lovely but literally said it was a surprise to them as well and had no more info right now. Surely they could honour bookings already made and, in our case, almost paid in full. Keeping everything crossed and good luck everyone. Sorry for this rambling post! xx

Excited about Disney

We changed our holiday from 1st October 2020 to 1st October 2021, 14 nights staying onsite I am a bit confused as do people actually book to stay onsite but visit parks off-site? We were only planning to leave Disney for maybe a shopping trip which is why we have booked onsite. We intend to visit Disney parks, water parks and resorts throughout the fortnight.

Same here loopylola. We don't hire a car, so literally spend all the time on Disney property, in the parks and dining. Always time for one shopping trip though!

I’m honestly stressing by the hour at the moment because this is for our honeymoon and we have no backup plan.

Really feel for you shughamster. Here's me complaining and there are people with honeymoons and weddings at stake. Its all so stressful and has lost a little bit of the magic.
