We are being put off Mexico by the seaweed we will be going July/August and the beach and sea sport is a large part of the holiday for several of the party.
Just for context we will be a party of 17 ranging in age from sixties to six.
We are looking at Bahia Principe Grand Punto and the Riu Bambu.

Well at the moment it's looking like Riu Palace Costa Rica.
Any body been there?

Sorry Sue I've only just seen this.
It was the Puerta Plata village hotel, but it was some years ago, it's only a 3* now too.

We’ve stayed at a few Dreams resorts and really enjoyed them.

Whilst the options outside of resorts is better in Mexico for the places we’ve stayed the pools are better in Dominican Republic.

Dd and dh would spend entire days in the pool so as long a there’s a decent pool they’re happy.
