Park Tickets

Looking for advice on park tickets. We’re travelling to Orlando in Dec 2020. I’m one for forward planning and I’m thinking of purchasing tickets for Universal now, Disney tickets in Dec 2019 and sea world tickets in 2020. What’s people’s advice on this?

I’ve ordered my Discovery Cove Ultimate and Universal Studios tickets from attraction tickets direct. I only paid a deposit and the rest is due next year. It feels like I’ve bought them but the money is still in my bank.

You could perhaps consider buying a combo deal where the 3 tickets are sold for one price. Overall it doesn't make a huge difference but it can be a couple of pounds cheaper than buying the tickets individually.

Also, you may want to wait until Black Friday or after Christmas to buy the Universal tickets. Sometimes some ticket sites have sales at these times and may reduce the price of the Universal and/or Seaworld ticket by a few pounds. Again, it won't be a massive saving but it might save you a couple of quid.

The price of the 2020 you pay now as the price is for next year. Unfortunately you can't lock them in at 2019 prices. What I seen they have gone up quite a bit, 21 day Disney gone up by 55 pounds!

The 2020 21-day tickets haven’t gone up by £55. As far as I’m aware they haven’t increased in price at all. They are the same price as when they were released.

The 2020 tickets probably will change in price throughout the year and into next year. The 2019 tickets are not the same price as they were this time last year, for example.

The OP is talking about buying 2020 tickets in December. If it's anything like the previous three years, the price of the 2020 14-day tickets will likely decrease in December. Last year they decreased by £40.

So depending on when you buy the tickets, you can "lock in" in the best price (as it were).

(Please note: I am not guaranteeing the price will reduce in December, nor the amount. The price might even increase. I am just basing this on what's happened in the last 2 or 3 years, that's all).

We're going to Florida in August 2020 for two weeks, with 3 kids ranging from 7 to 12.
Naturally we're going to disneyland but is it worth buying the usual bundle of tickets for Universal? Our kids aren't really into scary rides.
Perhaps is it just worth turning up at the gates and buying a ticket on the few times we might venture out to the place?
