I regard Tumble drying bedding as a personal failure.
Got all bedding dry enough to iron on Wednesday, got another load dry yesterday and there's a load in the machine now. Not looking too hopeful today but I'll give it a try.

In the winter only hang washing out if it's breezy . If no breeze and washing just going to hang there all limp it's not going to dry, so tumble dry it then.

Usually stop around end of sept till February

This year I stopped a bit earlier as we’ve had a load of building work and I couldn’t be bothered trying to avoid all the mess outside

Same here. My neighbours either side seem to leave their washing hanging outside overnight in all weathers - I’m always thinking surely it must smell musty if it’s been damp & left out?

3 loads out already today, we make a ton of washing here as 4 adults in the house, so with towels, bedding etc it’s never ending, we only use the tumble dryer as a last resort, out of interest those that only ever use the tumble dryer what does it do to your electricity bill each month? ours is currently £45 per month

Sort of flatten it after folding. Makes it easier to put in airing cupboard. I do like ironed pillow cases though.

If there’s a decent breeze then my washing will be hung outside all year. We don’t have a tumble dryer and I can still hear my Gran saying ‘fresh air is free’!
