Mobile EE roaming

Hi, I’m confused.
I have a standard pay monthly plan with EE.
Anyone know if I can make calls, send texts and use data in the US without their nearly £5 a day add on?

I’m going to give them a ring, just wondered if anyone had any experience?

Thanks

They have an add-on for £10 a month, data and calls can be used. Don't know if it's on everyone's contract tho

Yes, they have a £10pm Roaming Further plan that allows you to use your normal contract allowances in the USA (and other countries). Call them on 150 from your mobile to set up.

The add on allows calls and texts to be used from your contract but data is limited to 15gb roaming if you have more on your contract.

Hi - Yes I used the Roam Further Add On in July - it allows you your normal data allowance when in the US for example at I believe £9.99 for the month - pretty good value compared to the usual rip-off prices you see.
Worked great for me - previously I was on O2 and they would charge £5 per day!
You should be able to add this on in the EE App also.

Yes I did it on the app - don’t forget to cancel it afterwards

Yesterday this reminded me I needed to do mine. Stupidly though added not thinking about when my new month starts. Turns out it starts on Saturday and I fly Monday. Phoned customer service and they've waived this months £10 charge! For some reason I assumed this was a 30 days from sign up but it isn't it follows your contract dates (Which makes complete sense once my brain woke up!) Something to be aware of if like me you were thinking I'll just add for the time I'm away. I was expecting to pay for a whole month but assumed it would just be 1 month but would have been 2.
