Busch Gardens...not that impressed.

Ok the rides are pretty good, and it was very quiet yesterday when we went, but the park itself seems a bit 2nd rate IMHO.
Was expecting so much more.

I get what your saying...I thought that the last time we went ( 8 years ago ) but Wife loved it and is insistent we do it again when we go in September so Im hoping for an improvement :/

I went last year for the first time in about 4 years and was disappointed also. I love coasters so its good for that but I personally don't think its worth the hour drive. There were hardly any people there last year, no queues for anything which was the only good point really ha

We went last year for the first time in 12 years & forgot how good it was. It was an great day away from Orlando.

What was it you didn't like? Everyone so far has said the rides were good but were disappointed in the park. Was it atmosphere, theming etc?

I'm just wondering if it's worth us making the journey. I haven't been for 20 years and DH and the kids have never been. We've already got tickets that include Busch but I don't want to a long journey with the kids if it's not worth it.

It's not as polished as disney or universal studios or IOA. It reminds me of flamingo land but in a hotter place.

I personally love BG! The rides are fantastic, the theming isn't quite like Disney and Universal but what is lacks in theming it definitely makes up for in awesome rollercoasters! And watching people standing on the bridge at Tidal Wave is always good fun!

We've never been but looking forward to giving it a try this year. It should be a nice trip away from Orlando even if it doesn't turn out to be or favourite park.

I love BG, i like the fact that its never that full. I can get on all of the rides quickly and then take a nice stroll around the park without being banged into and pushed out of the way all the time.
