We've decided to go with it as they have some of the series we used to watch when we had Sky, will be great to catch up on them again

We took advantage of the offer that was available before launch and was due to renew in March. However, as my wife had a new 02 contract before Christmas she had six month free Disney+. I didn't think we'd be able to use it on an account that was already paid for but I wrung and spoke to Disney and they added it on for me.

So our 02 offer will continue for 6 months and our remaining months of our annual subscription will be added on to the end. Which I was really pleased about.

Here's an article of some of the things that will be available on launch:

Wow! That's great, well done - it doesn't come fairer than that

To the OP - if you're already a subscriber to Disney+ then you don't have to do anything extra. You'll automatically get Star for free without subscribing specifically to it.

As I took out a year's subscription at the end of March last year, I'll get Star on 23rd Feb without doing anything else.

I'll then probably extend my subscription for another year in March for £59.99. Especially with all the Marvel stuff coming (and already on there).

It's a subscription channel for Disney TV shows and films. It was always going to be lacking adult content - the clue is in the name.

It provided pretty much everything you'd expect from a Disney subscription service, so no surprises there.

Thank you for your input Nimbus, yes we also became subscribers in March 2020 but had been weighing up whether to cancel or not. I should have said ~we've now decided to keep it~

We watch so much Disney+. With Marvel and Star Wars in particular. So much new content coming this year, we’ll definitely be renewing. Just checked my subscription and it will renew next month for £59.99 - which we think is good value, as we watch something on it every day.

I'm not particularly into Marvel but hubby is so we'll be keeping our subscription. Think we'll be likely use it more than we currently do once the new Star channel is added

It’s not even a question for me. I’ll be renewing Disney plus for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier alone! Between the Marvel and Star Wars content it’s well worth it for me and Star is just an added bonus.
