Rooms in Cabana Bay

Looking at different options for split stay next year, like the look of Cabana Bay, there seems to be a few options for the family suites, exterior entry, tower suite, courtyard poolside, any recommendations anyone?

We stayed in an exterior entry suite. We weren’t supposed to. We got upgraded when we checked in which was amazing. It was in the Castaway section which I thought was in the better pool area. It had two Queen beds with a bathroom that had shower etc but with a separate WC which was great. It had a small kitchen area, not with a lot in it and a sofa bed. It was probably the lowest category of suite as it was an exterior entry door, motel style, over looking the car park but we loved it. You can pay more for a pool view or interior entry which would be in the Tower areas, Continental or Americana areas.

We stayed in a room with interior entry, we over looked the pool with the lazy river and we could also see volcano bay when standing right at the window and looking right. We had the two queen beds, separate lounge and kitchen area. Rooms were a good size. The bathroom was a separate toilet to the bath and shower and the sinks were in the middle.

We liked being on the interior as we was then closer to Starbucks, the food court, the buses and the walk to Volcano bay. Plus we got to stay in the air con a little longer when we were there in August heat.

We had an exterior entry in a perfect location for us as it was next to the walking trail to City Walk.

We have been twice, both times exterior entry and pool view. Loved it. It was always our presence. Loved the fact that husband could stand on the walkway and gesture did I want a beer or g&t smuggled down in my snippy cup (shhhh) 🤫
