Thanks everyone, it’s more for the kids I’d say they’ll like the novelty of a poncho

I used to be a neither person until the trip where it rained every day for at least half the day. We had to abandon parks because of it! Now I embrace the poncho and carry on!

We have poundland ponchos still unopened. They will probably be rotten if we ever open them.

From Ireland also and we use ponchos, they cover everything. We always take a selection of our Disney ponchos, decent quality ones and some cheap thin disposable type ones depending on the weather/day's activities/size of bag to carry etc.

We take ponchos, but its hit and miss if we wear them.
We were given 2 free Disney ones last trip at the HEA Dessert Party to watch the fireworks as it rained heavily all evening. The Park ones are expensive to buy but are more durable. |

Neither, in the humidity it's like walking round in a greenhouse! Would rather get wet or give up lol

I too had a trip in June where it rained virtually every day - some ride Q's were flooded etc.
My poncho was the best thing I bought as I could carry on - my trainers were never the same I did like the way it goes over backpacks to keep everything dry. Prior to this trip never used a poncho - just waited out in shops for it to stop - I assume that's not allowed now

We find ponchos/waterproof jackets far too hot in August but you need something for the occasional thunderstorm . I usually take two lightweight umbrellas that fit in our backpack 👍🏼 Ideal!

We take mini umbrellas that fold really small.
