I have stayed and priced up many times' I have never noticed that there is a “best time” for deals. Book whenever you see a price you are personally happy with.

Book ASAP to secure your room, if you're booking direct and a discount comes in, they'll most likely honour it.
We've booked with them, changed rooms and applied AP discount retrospectively in the past, they're always very helpful.

I invariably book direct and get in early. If you are a family I would also consider club level if it is one of the big three.. and how best to exploit it without compromising your park time unduly.

We’ve booked for august 22, club level at Hard Rock. It’s worth the extra for the drinks alone. We just look around and find a price we’re happy with, I’ve never found that they fluctuate too much.

I booked small deposit with Travel Republic about 4 or 5 months ago for a week at RPR late July 2022. Very early but always found earlier is better prices. Have done this several times before.

Do travel Republic cover resort fees or do you have to pay more when you arrive at the hotel do you know ?

They don’t have resort fees for Universal hotels, booking with anyone, but they do have a daily parking fee. For Royal Pacific Resort its $22 self park or $29 valet. I think you give you cc details on arrival but they deduct when you leave. When we stayed at Cabana Bay I booked hotel only with Virgin Holidays and this charge was included
