Anna Maria Island 4 nt stay June 2022

Looking ahead I am thinking about a 4 night stay in Anna Maria Island does anyone have any recommendations for accomodation. Willing to look at anything - prefer apartment/villa style but wouldn't discount a hotel stay. Budget isn't a problem.

Thanks in advance everyone.

We stayed on Anna Maria for a week in 2019 and, after researching previous posts on here, settled on a stay at the Sunrise Garden Resort. The best recomendation I can give it is that we will probably stop there again on our next trip to AM. Check them out here sunrisegardenresort/

We’ve been to Anna Maria 3 times since 2016 and it it wasn’t for Covid would of been last summer and this summer. I would always recommend staying north end if the island. First visit we stayed mid way up gulf drive but found we were driving to the north everyday. Since then we’ve always stayed on Magnolia Avenue which is close to Pine Avenue. Now we never use the car once we’ve arrived and just walk or cycle everywhere. There’s also a free trolley which takes you past Holmes beach and further south.
I’ve always searched online for houses to rent and would always recvomend this as we love our own pool and like doing bbq’s etc but if we were to stay in a hotel there it would probably be the rod and reel resort. Absolutely beautiful and perfect location. Feel free to ask any more questions 😊

We’ve been a number of times and have stayed mostly at the North End near Pine Ave. We have rented from Anna Maria Paradise and did have a house booked for last year with Sato Real Estate. When Covid came up they offered us a full refund of our deposit immediately so I will book with them again for next time.

AMI is my favourite place on the planet, you'll love it!
If you're only going for 4 nights then accommodation choices will be less as most places like you to have a 7 night minimum, especially the houses but there are options out there.
For our first visit in 2017 we stayed at The Tortuga Inn for 3 nights and would highly recommend. It's down the Bradenton Beach end of the island and was in walking distance to restaurants and shops on Bridge Street.
When we went back in 2018 we had a house up on the North end but as we were there for a week we had more choice in where we stayed. I did love the North End of the island too, but there honestly is no 'bad' part to stay.
You won't find any of your typical Orlando hotels only a few B&Bs, the island mainly caters for self catering
You can check out photos of both places in my 2017 & 18 trip reports in my signature
