Virgin Flydrive & not take car!

Good morning Dibber’s 😊

My DH are booked to go end of Sept this year and our son and fiancé are thinking of joining us, looking at prices, VH are offering a fly drive for about £20 more but is deposit only- this helps out son as he doesn’t need to break into his savings yet.

My question is do you have to take the car? We are hiring as usual a SUV so they’ll just come with us, it’s not a good idea for my son to drive in Florida 😂

Is this the best way to go around it or would it be better to just add him to our VH booking, is that cheaper?

Thank you 😊

We have done Virgin Flydrive several times (and in our upcoming trip in 2022) and never take the car as we prefer not to drive on holiday. Never had a problems as a result.

Thank you for answering my question Mary-Lou, much appreciated, I’ve gone ahead and booked the flights, so excited to plan with my son and his fiancé, it’s good to have someone excited about Florida, my husband is not excited by it at all 😢
