I've signed up to WW so tracking points and planning and preparing healthy meals is giving me something to do during lockdown. I'm determined to complete dry January this year. We'd usually go away for a weekend mid-Jan so I haven't got that temptation this year.
I’m definitely the other way round. I have the best intentions at night when I make my packed lunch. So I take that with me, and in all likelihood that’s all I have time to eat, so it works really well.
At home on my own with the dog, it’s harder as I have less distractions. I do just try to not buy the treats though, and then I’m unlikely to bother going out to the shops for it 😂
I agree though, I’m not doing WW but I do track my calories on mfp, and I’m trying to exercise more

I’m the same, I was so good when working properly mostly because I didn’t have the time 😂

Once a week as a rule, small bag of crisps or popcorn.

When my brother and I got up there would be a little piece of paper with our names on it with a 2p each for us some days .
Fifty years later I still remember this.

We were lucky if we got a single pack of crisps now all I see is multi packs
I thought the term 'full fat' coke was a in common usage and didnt refer to the sugar content but to the fact it is loaded with useless calories and made you fat.

I bought a box of low syn treats - all marked with stickers advising the syn value. You can chose what values you want ie under 5 syns/under 6 syns and so on and they also do them for weight watchers. It’s been a great help for me and I’ve just topped it up myself with the things I like. Mitch you have probably seen it on my Instagram 😊

Growing up my mum was very strict and we was poor but we did had a treat on Saturday night, we would walk up to the ‘top shop’ (furthest away and up a big hill) and choose a chocolate bar mine was always a starbar 😍
I don’t like pastry nor does my husband so we never have sausage rolls or pies. We never have cake either unless its been made for one of the children’s birthday.
I do think child obesity is a problem and I think a lot of it is due to video games, a lot spend far too much time sat in front of a screen doing little or no physical activity. We are a very active family, always out walking, we all do some form a exercise daily, dancing, boxing, running, swimming etc even though lockdown has its limitations we luckily have a gym in the back garden.
Our children have always been allowed a desert after dinner, that could be yogurt, strawberries & grapes, chocolate bar, custard pot, whichever tickles their fancy but they don’t just help themselves in the kitchen, they always ask first and don’t eat between meals. We don’t have fizzy drinks unless its a treat like Christmas and then its sugar free.
I personally have a terrible sweet tooth and eat far too much ice cream and chocolate 🙈
I am really bad and will often stuff my face with rubbish in secret.

Growing up we were allowed fizzy drinks on birthdays or christmas only, we did not miss it because thats how it was.

I find myself chuckling reading about structure and lockdown. I have worked from home for a decade now and you do find you build a structure.
I just go into the zone and tbh the fridge etc just doesn't tempt me ,maybe because I reinforce in my head I am working .

Chocolate ... I don't eat it much at all, few times a year. Hot chocolate is my thing and once a week I have one.
Crisps...I used to eat lots, but i would say a bag of Kettle crisps once every two months or so. I do not buy them in so no temptation.
Sausage rolls ...do not like them.
Fizzy - Coke zero is my thing and I will go through a six pack over two weeks.
Vodka- I like a vodka or two at the weekend, tonic ,ice and lemon.
Takeaways ...Twice a month usually...mainly Indian or KFC.
