Mobile Lightsaber & Droid making reservations!

Hi all, new to the forum and after advice!
We’re huge SW fans and visiting in August as a family of 4 - DH and 2 teen sons.

I’m trying to book reservations for droid and lightsaber making from the app but I just get sent to a blank web page? I’ve also emailed but received a generic message to confirm that I can book via the app! It’s now within the 180 days, so should be able to reserve slots?

Anyone had success?!

hi if you call you can book or u need to download a VPN and set your VPN to USA to book via mobile app as there is an issue with uk site

I booked the droid workshop via the website on my laptop rather than the app and it worked fine.

I’ve been on hold for ages and got a very unhelpful lady who was adamant that no one can make reservations for this over the phone and it’s only possible via the website or MDE. Currently on hold for Guest Services (who she said wouldn’t be able to help, either! )

if you explain that no one in UK is able to book via web as it keeps getting a blank page they are meant to be aware of this issue its only been last 2 weeks this issue has arisen

I was struggling to book either experience via the UK website. Downloaded Tunnel bear (VPN) from the app store, set it to USA and booked without a problem

I booked the Droid one and I’m pretty sure off the i phone app. Probably 3 weeks ago now maybe 4. I’ve changed the time by half an hour as well since then. It’s a very glitchy app though. I had to call for the Fantasmic dining package. Spoke to a very snotty woman who told me I could do it on line. I did advise her if that had been possible for me it would have been preferable given her tone and asked her to be sure I was kept on hold to take the survey at the end of the call 🤣 Good luck. My daughter is really looking forward to doing this.
