If you can watch Rix tix, tim tracker and the are others who are keeping tabs on the new raptor coaster that is going up now they all have the fall of 2020 for when it will open
there has been a lot of land cleared around the area, a bridge built and pillons going in. gossip suggests that it is going to be a fast paced raptor themed ride the raptor encounter has moved near one of the pizza places there was quite a large opening event for hagrid with an evening and day ceremony with cast members from the films the wait times on the day it opened was over 10 hours! with the line starting almost at the entrance!

You are right. And they probably have a better idea of how well the construction is going than the likes of me.
However, work on the Tron coaster (for example) at MK is far in advance of this Raptor coaster - track is already in place! And yet we know that coaster won't open until 2021. I hope the Raptor coaster does open in Fall 2020. It might attract a few people away from Hagrid's motorbike coaster when I next visit.

The big difference between Tron & The Raptor coaster is the huge show building including the complex canopie plus large amounts of theming work inside the building. While the raptor coaster will have theming including a small rumoured prelaunch indoor themed element it won’t be anywhere near as extensive as Tron. Also the construction time frame for Hagrid was 20 months including removing Dragons, Raptor isn’t expected to be anywhere near as extensively themed or as complex ride system, if it does say open by Oct 2020 the coaster will have also had a 20 month construction time frame.

They are building a replacement show/attraction where terminator was. It was originally announced when Terminator closed in 2017 to open in 2019. All has gone quiet (work on the attraction has been happening though) and is now expected to open in early 2020. Rumoured to be some kind of Bourne themed stunt/special effects style show.

Well...that’s something... still to see Hagrid’s too I suppose. And a few more restaurants.
