@Moorlandman I'm concerned about the financial situation of Norwegian and TC. British Airways strike too often. TUI is extortionately priced (and hate their shorthaul flights so dubious about longhaul) so that leaves me with Virgin for direct flights, I also like flying with them, I know what I'm getting.

The seats are quite expensive to book with BA but I got a good price of £2480 for 5 adults plus car people mover and insurance but going 1st 3 weeks in may

That’s fine but it does usually mean that you will pay more sometimes significantly more for Virgin direct.

Yes it seems so, it's frustrating as they are quite cheap for the rest of the US, Florida seems more compared to other places we've flown.

Has anyone flown Iberia?

I haven't flown with Iberia, but I believe that they are operated by BA so would likely be affected by any BA strike action.

I am going 9th - 23rd. I booked with Virgin yesterday as the price for our group dropped by over £500 overnight! £1,303 for 2 adults and 1 child. Worth keeping an eye on them for your dates for the next week or so in case there is a drop in price for your dates soon too.

I don't know if that logic really follows with flight prices, but will be interested to see what happens on Monday!

If you are flying direct then this will be a codeshare with BA and not an Iberia flight.

Just seen this thread. We live around 30 mins from Manchester Airport, but a few weeks back, booked a package with BA from Gatwick. It was £495pp for return flights and 10 nights at the Rosen Plaza. Ridiculous price. The same holiday with Virgin out of Manchester is over £900pp. No brainer and worth the trip down.

My May flight prices have dropped about £40 each today. Am going to see if there is any further change tomorrow.
