Tesco vouchers for hard rock hotel

I understand you can purchase hotel.com vouchers with Tesco points, if you don’t have enough to cover the whole cost can you part pay with them?

Yes , you can. You can't pay the taxes with Tesco vouchers so would have to pay those by card anyway. We didn't use the Tesco link at first but then realised you need to go through their link to use the vouchers. We've used Tesco vouchers for a big part of the cost of our night at HRH next month.

Yes, this is what we’re planning to do, once we’ve got our flights and know how many nights we need.

What is the offer for this? Do the Tesco points double for the hotel stay?
Thanks

They triple - in multiples of 5, so £5 gives £15 to spend. There is a maximum though, which I think is £300 of vouchers.

My Tesco points convert to Virgin flying club miles but I think I will start having them in Tesco voucher. Is there a time limit you can collect them to build up for before you have to use them by? I.E. can I start collecting them now toward using them in 2021 for/towards a hotel room booking?

Tesco points expire after 2 years. If you log into your Tesco account, it'll tell when each set expires. I've been collecting since August 2017 and booked Cabana Bay Beach Resort last week for 4 nights in November 2019.

Just booked HRH today using Tesco vouchers, 2 nights cost me £72.
I am so pleased, thank you to whoever posted this without you asking the question I would have never realised I could use my Tesco points for this.
Thank you.xx

This is quite handy. Tesco is where I do my shopping and I usually just use my vouchers at Christmas for extra treats but it would be better used if they are triple the amount.
Is there a list of universal hotels you can use? Could it be used on the new budget universal hotel (endless summer)?
