Not quite sure what to make of it this week. Was a bit gobsmacked when that guy phoned his wife to bring him his lunch.

How many people (apart from the very rich) can afford to have the dressmaker come to the house and dress them - except when it's a friend or family member who made the dress.
When I got married, my dressmaker came out to my house and dressed me, I am not rich or famous, before anyone says, I am also not a traveller, she offered as part of her service, it was a handmade dress and I am glad she did, as I had to be sewn into the dress, as lost weight 2 days after my last fitting. (she didn't charge any extra , but the dress did cost £1,000 . 11 yrs ago.) |
