Delta Advance Passenger Information- HELP!

Hi all
We are flying Delta for the first time this year. We input advance passenger info on the Virgin website last year, but I can't find out how to do the same for Delta? Or don't they need it? I have checked website and emailed their customer services but no luck so far. I would hate to reach check in to be told its necesary. Hope someone can help

I am flying with Delta on Thursday and havent done it.

I have logged onto my itinerary plenty of times and it hasnt prompted me to do it.

They wouldnt refuse you flying though, you would just get a mardy check in agent who had to stand and do it there and then... I imagine!

I might log in to my account now and see... will let you know x

OK So it wont let me check in because its more than 24 hours ...when my parents recently travelled with BA and when I checked them in online within the 24 hour system I loaded the APR (advance passenger registration) then, it only took minutes.

I work in travel and am aware its a very new thing so they are not refusing to fly or anything ----- yet! lol

API isn't new - you're thinking of ESTA aren't you?

Sorry - my mistake - being a travel agent, its new for us... as in a new procedure for agents having to do the API's for customers... ! Sorry for confusion
x

I will try and check in after 10am tomorrow online as then I will be within the 24 hours and will let you know how I get on.

Regards
Denise

Hello

Yeah you can enter in your passport details upon the online check in 24 hours prior to travel.

I am unable to do an online check in cos I have an infant travelling, but you could see down the options the 'identity confirmation' was the next section.

Hope that helps x
