I'm impressed you did so much with the hangover

I would have definitely been staying in my room for quite some time!

Lovely looking food at the casino and at the Grapevine! Yum!

I think it's brilliant that you managed such a full day, phew I'm worn out just reading about it. The casino sounds like it was fun.

And why are useful signs never that obvious

Glad the carb overload helped the errrrr hangover 😜
Lol, the boat is the paddle steamer we didn't get on, it was coming in as we left. We were on a standard ferry.
I cannot believe we missed that sign !

Yeah, secretly I think it was Andys payback as I insisted we walk the Highline in NY when he had a hangover I'm glad we did tho, it was a different set of sights and the casino was just a weird experience. Full of (slightly) older people settled in on their slots for the afternoon. I did consider a handgrenade martini at dinner time but thought better of it. Normal service is resumed tomorrow

What a total fail on our part. But no signs ! Other than the one at the ferry terminal

The trip back was definitely less work than the one going over. It was windy and the water was choppy. In fact, there was a terrible accident in the harbour that morning and a tug boat sank. It was on the news when we got back to the hotel. We saw the search helicopter but didn't realise that was why it was there at the time.

Not a bad day for a quiet one. We must try the steamer .. Next time ... Third time lucky maybe !

That food at the casino really does look so good. I could just eat those loaded fries
Yes I think I could quite easily have had a napping day But it turned out to be quite nice strolling around. The fries, nice but then the cheese kinda welded all the fries together and it got very undignified trying to eat it with flimsy plastic forks !

Yep, I'm impressed with myself too. I think Andy was at me secretly. Dinner was absolutely delicious. That bistro is fabulous.

It was a lot of walking and I did feel a bit weary once we sat in the casino. Glad we went out and about though.

You did well to go on the boat - I’d struggle on a normal day, let alone with a hangover!

That casino food looks like the perfect hangover cure to me though.

Not a cocktail in sight... I have to say I'm disappointed Amanda Nice day, it looked like a pretty walk, shame you didn't find Mardi Gras World at the end of it.

Dinner looks lovely, much nicer than those nasty oysters yesterday!

The Fuddruckers was perfect. We were starving and it was freshly cooked. I definitely felt less delicate after it !
