Very Last Minute Deals?

Afternoon All!..

does anyone have experience of getting a last minute deal i.e. 2 days before departure? or even 1 day?

if so.. do you have any tips as to how to achieve the best results?

Date wise will be the last week in August for a family of 5 .. not bothered where I fly from

We got a really good deal with Thomsons/Tui late August into September a couple of years ago, we got back on the Sunday morning and DD had College on the Monday but she coped. We booked about 6 weeks out, 2 weeks Gatwick to Sanford and stayed at ASMusic at under £600 pp. The prices are fluid so were changing regularly.

Have you looked at the prices now, some pretty reasonable deals, depending on where you want to stay, nice 3 bed villa for under £4k inc flights and luggage offsite hotels for less but with 5 of you maybe a bit cramped.

I have seen some really good deals posted on here but you might struggle a bit for 5 people.

Tui do amazing deals for the last week of August, I’ve seen them the last two years, normally 26/27 days before travelling gets the best prices

Got a good last minute deal with Tui flying Glasgow to Sanford it was for a strange number of nights perhaps 9 but was about £400 each staying off site on ID

We got a deal of £264 per person staying at the grove resort and spa including direct flights and luggage from Glasgow for 14 nights last august into September,we booked the week before but the cost was very similar from about 4 weeks before. Hoping to do the same this year

Was this through TUI? Or another site?

I've seen the £500pp 14 day TUI deals which I thought were as good as it gets but clearly not

What an amazing price! I will keep on the lookout for deals this good we are 2 adults so tend to pay more than a family as the room cost isn't spread out as much.

Last year our flights for our holiday to Spain were changed by TUI 3 days before we were supposed to fly. We were able to receive a full refund if we wanted, Out of curiosity we looked and found a two week holiday to Florida staying in the Grove resort & spa Orlando for only £327 per person, cheaper than the original holiday to Spain
