Mobile Disney $200 gift card

Happy monday everyone,

I go to Florida in September and have the free gift card to collect in the airport. Is there a way to pick this up at Disney springs Instead? Or at the hotel? Or does it have to be in the airport?

Thank you

Nicole

Have you booked with Virgin Holidays? If so, then it's at the airport I'm afraid.

Yes it's booked through virgin, I thought I read a post ages ago saying there was a way that you could potentially pick it up somewhere else. Unless I've dreamt it 😂

Actually, I think I recall reading something now you mention it! I wonder if it was through the VH concierge service, or whatever it's called?

You are supposed to pick it up at the airport, and the small print states if you don't then you forfeit the card. I know one or two people have been successful having it delivered to the hotel as they forgot to get it, but I wouldn't count on that.

Its not a big hassle to collect at the airport but I'm worried about forgetting! I have an alarm set on my phone for landing time to try and remind me...

Yes they will send it to your hotel if you forget to collect it, I reckon the small print is to save them having to send it to everyone! I emailed the concierge team to check before I left last time in case we forgot.

Their contact details are here -virginholidays/concierge

Thanks guys I'll ask them. Just travelling with young kids and I understand that it's on the opposite side of the terminal which I will be in. Easier life is all 😊

In previous years it used to be at the second baggage collection on the lower floor which you have to go to for car rentals anyway or taxis/transfers
