Mobile Carry on flight food Thomas Cook

Hi all. Very infrequent flier here so apologies for daft questions.
Can you take food through security before flight or is it better to buy at airport once through?
Can any food then go onto plane? Looking at Thomas Cook kids menu its unlikely DS will eat it so will need to take a sandwich or something for him.

What about return trip from Orlando. Do same rules apply?
Thanks

Yes you can take food through security and then onto plane both ways but not liquids. But you MUST dispose of any uneaten food or fruit before leaving the plane, sweets or biscuit type food is ok to go off plane, however anything that goes into your mouth (food) needs to be declared.

Yes you can, same as above though, get rid of fresh foods (meat, cheese, fruits) before getting off the plane. And any food in your bag should be declared.

We have wheat, gluten and lactose intolerant dh and dd, and Thomas Cook only really do gluten free or vegan. Also my youngest has sensory issues and is very picky. So We take a lot of food on the flight with us. It's a long way to go without eating.
