Planning an overnight in Universal Studios
Hey,
We are going to AKL for 2 weeks in Aug on the DDP. We are considering doing an overnight stay at Universals Royal Pacific for one night. ($350) I know as part of the package for staying in certain Universal hotels you get express passes, but i suppose my question is; For one nights stay, will i get express pass for the first day and the second day, or will it be the day i check in (ie one day) Anyone done this or have any advice? Cheers |

Go for it, lots on here have done it. We found it worked really well. You get express pass on both days so it really is worthwhile, especially if you manage to get to the hotel early. You can then take advantage of early entry to one of the parks. It doesn't matter if your room isn't ready, they give you your room keys and these act as your express passes. You can leave your luggage with bell services and they'll text you when your room is ready.

You get express passes for 2 days. We did this in July 2017 and were given them for check in and check out day.

Can sleep upto five in a room with a rollaway. With 5 or 4 it's often worth it, esp the dates you are going.
But if fewer than that might be worth checking out how much two days express passes are for your party first. You have to have tickets on top either way. The overnight to experience city walk at night it a lovely bonus too over going as a day visitor. |
