Disney to stop issuing share certificates

I was reading this thread when mine arrived at the door... I was rather nervous unpacking it as it is a gift for DD. Thankfully it is intact and as nice as I imagined.

Minniemouse-I hope you can get a replacement sorted ASAP x

I've emailed customer services at oneshare. I should probably also contact fedex, but not expecting much. It looks like something heavy has been sat on top of it and bowed the box out of shape. Which has bent and creased the frame and certificate.

Just an update. Customer services asked me to mail it back, using their fedex account and they would inspect the certificate, see if they could sort out the creasing and re-frame it. So a bit more hopeful now.

Had an email from OneShare today to say that Disney have decided to start issuing a paper share certificate again. The new design was unveiled at the annual shareholders meeting but hasn't been shared to a wider audience yet- no word on exactly when it will be available but the email implied this year- how exciting!

It also mentioned there would be a Star Wars character on there!

Just read the entire thread gutted that I never knew about this before then I read the last one from wonder and now really cheered up. Just have to decide how I get DH to buy me one.
