Fly home.

At present just DH and i are planning to go, but i'm still toying with the idea of taking the kids too.. if we take them it'll be a last minute decision.

Flights i won't book till probably the Xmas sale its what we've done for the last 4 years , hoping to pay no more than £600 per person (never paid more than £550 yet).

It'll be a trip on a budget i think given we're having 3 weeks in Florida in July 2015 but i'm ok with that , i'll be in Vegas and that'll do me :-)
Would love to do Pheonix - I might even see if we can stretch our holiday with an extra couple of days and try to slot it in. We're not really in a rush back as we're going in the school holidays. It all depends on the budget though

I haven't really got a clue how much our flights are going to be but can't see me getting any change out of £800 per person as it's July

Oh wow - Texas! Sounds amazing. It's a place that's on my bucket list for some point in the future.

About 20 years ago I had a week in LA (Anaheim) and a week in Vegas and absolutely loved it.

Really looking forward to August/sept when flights released so can start proper and book. Hoping to start in SF down the PH to Anaheim and then ending San Diego. Really want to go to comic con so need to wait for those dates also and work around that.
Have done Florida quite a few times and definitely need a new experience on the west coast. So much to do hard to whittle it down!
I'm really looking forward to the PH part of our trip, the scenery is meant to be outstanding.
We feel the same as you about needing the new experience. We have done Florida so many times now but I still need my Disney fix in California lol

Half the holiday in LA and half in Las Vegas- I loved it and thought that would be us finished with Florida for a long time- sure enough we booked up again for June this year and are eagerly counting down the weeks now. My husband is already planning on when we can book for 2015,however as much as I think I want to go back I feel that we should wait until this one is over as you never know we may want to check out Florida again(new part of WWOHP will be waiting for us- won't it?)
I have done half and half with LA and Vegas too but it was over 20 years ago now. I imagine it would have changed quite a bit since then.

I'm more excited for doing the drive from LA along the PH to San Fran then onto Yosemite. It's something i've never done before. Just hoping to boys are fine with all the travelling.

We don't have any immediate plans to return to Florida but would maybe consider it in 2016 if we don't get the West Coast bug

We really like Phoenix, we had a fab day there last year at the Zoo, there is also a Wet & Wild there..

I'm dreading the cost of flights to Florida next July we've never been in the summer before and looking at the costs i can see why !

We're going next year too! Hopefully the last two weeks in August.

NYC for 4 nights first then 2 nights Disney California, 7 nights San Deigo, 1 night LA.

We've done Florida twice now so fancy a change!

We are starting to plan for August next year - SF / Yosemite / Sequoia / then LV or LA (LA was a bit of a curveball chucked in by DD which got me thinking about adding in the PCH).

We haven't booked anything yet as we want to get flights sorted first.

We really need to pin down our intinerary...

We're going next August to celebrate our 40th birthdays (though we'll both be 41 by the time we go!)

Our plan is:

5 nights at outrigger Waikiki
7 nights at Aulani
4 nights HoJo Anaheim
2 nights Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach
4 nights Grand Californian at Disneyland

That's the plan at the moment, but its already changed several times & probably will do again until I book it in September!
