Not for us - that's another $650 for our party, and not too interested in those characters. We have not been to MNSSHP for a long time - going on 2nd Oct I think this year - and was hoping it would not be too busy.

I think visitors at certain time of years are getting less value from Disney - at Halloween parks hrs are shorter, there are less showings of Electrical parade/Fantasmic/Fireworks but the admission prices stay the same, and then there are all these extra events.

I hope I am proved wrong, but when we first started going to Disney, they really cared about the customer and the kids in particular - from what I read on here things seem to have changed.

I totally agree with this.
You already pay a fairly hefty price for park admission.
On top of that you pay extra for MNSSHP.

I would then expect to have an 'enhanced experience' for the additional monies paid for MNSSHP admission.
If people are waiting 1-2 hours queueing for parades and rides that is not 'enhanced' and I'd frankly question if its worth the money at all.

For Disney to then expect more money to 'enhance' your experience because it would seem it is so crowded, I think is a bit of a cheek and greedy too!

I'm rather annoyed at them with all these 'exclusives.

I feel they should be enhancing the existing experiences of park goers who have forked out good money for their holiday!

Sorry- rant over

On second thought, mums of boys only like me won't get to eat in the castle as he won't tolerate any princesses. My DH have agreed to buy me tickets for my birthday in few weeks and it looks like we are going after all!

I will read the reviews and if they are not good I will just cancel it - you can cancel up to 24 hours ahead of the event

Exactly, if the first few reviews aren't great, you can cancel without penalty
We are going on the 31st of October and chose the 2nd seating. There is something cool to me about being in the castle at midnight on Halloween itself
