M life and My Vegas - please explain

Hoping to go back to California next summer for my birthday and redo some of the things we did for dh last year. However I know that it will be pricey so hoping to make some savings, get some freebies to help. Been seeing that some people talk about M life and My Vegas, can you please explain. I have googled them both but don't want to sign up until I know more. I'm not a gambler and in fact have no idea how to play card games except solitaire, spider and something called cheat (and I'm useless at that).

Hope someone can help, thanks

We traded in 5000 last week for a BOGOF buffet breakfast at MGM. very nice indeed. Sign up for Vegas free slots on line and play as and when to accumulate the gold V points which can be traded. You sign up for M life and then when you've decided what reward you want to use you (they are listed on the Vegas free slots app) go to the M life desk in the relevant hotel and redeem it. If you can play on Facebook too you get eve more points. I only played for a couple or 3 weeks before we went (i forgot to start) but had 10000 points to use while we were there so huge points can be accumulated.

I used points on our September trip. I saw a thread about it last year and started playing. I redeemed two rooms for two nights at the Aria, two buffets for two at Mandalay Bay and two tickets for two to the Shark Reef as well. I still have over a million gold points which I will be using for our next trip in June

It is very easy to redeem, also when you check into a hotel you can use the invited guest check in, which in our case saved a big queue at normal check in when we arrived. When you go to redeem in the game it gives you a calendar of available dates you can choose and you just call MyVegas, give them your redemption number and dates you want and they make the booking for you, then you just turn up at the hotel as you would normally and check in (at the invited guest check in desk).

You can use them for buffets, show tickets, rooms and certain attractions at the casinos like the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay or the Secret Garden at the Mirage. If you do these then you just join M Life online, go to the relevant casino's M Life desk and give them your redemption code and ID and they give you the tickets.

If you play on Facebook and can play for about an hour a day you can get a high number of points in a few months. There are also Facebook groups you can join where people share their bonus chips you win for level ups, daily spins etc. By adding friends from these groups to your game you also get extra chips from them every day to play with.

If you can get other people on your holiday to play as well, as you get three rewards each, then you can get more stuff. If you buy extra chips sometimes as well, it gives you an extra reward you can collect but you don't have to buy chips at all if you don't want to.

I also am with Sky and for £10 a month you get free international calls, I rang them up added it for the month i would be making calls to hotels and MyVegas and then just ring them up and get it taken off again when you have finished. The call to MyVegas took about 15 minutes for them to book it for me and then give me the reservation numbers so the £10 was worth it, and I also called all the other hotels i had booked and asked for special room requests, checked reservations etc.

Ok here goes lol

We both play Myvegas , for this next years grip I so far habe 200000 gold coins and my DH has 320000 I hope to get another 100000 coins each .

We play on both the laptop and on our phones via Facebook , really to get a decent amount of coins you need to play on both, it's far quicker to rack up the gold coins on a laptop. When you first start playing its very easy to get the gold coins the more you play the harder it is, sometimes I need 2million points to move onto the next level .

You can redeem fro all kinds of things , this year we had a couple of buffets, 2-4-1 for the secret garden and shark reef etc..
You do have to look though because imo some are poor value, things like a $25 voucher for Sugar Factory but you have to spend $100 to be able to use to .

The Mlife bit is how you redeem the reward, basically you exchange your coins online for a voucher which is in your name and you print off . Then in Vegas join Mlife at any Mgm hotel .
Then take your voucher, ID and mlife card to the Mlife desk in the hotel where you want eat / attraction is ..so the Mirage for the Secret Garden etc .

We have had a 2 for 1 buffet so far at Monte Carlo, 2 for 1 tickets for love and we are going to Mandalay bay buffet this morning 2 for 1. All in saved us about $140.
Didn't cost us a penny to play, and daytona babe is right when she says watch what you redeem your points for as we thought a lot were a waste of your points.

The also do special events with the points, this week you could redeem them for tickets to the Red Bull air show at the Speedway, and i see they are doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience and NASCAR tickets.

Yes its really free, you can if you wish pay for coins to play with but i never have and never would, i see little point in paying for coins .

But yes honestly no catches :-)
