When we contacted owner it was about deposit being due and probably flight may be cancelled, at this point they said it would be the beginning of May, they said to pay all the balance and if flight cancelled they would give us letter for insurance. This is something we didn’t want involved in so decided to cancel, we knew if flight went in June but which was very unlikely we could get a villa or somewhere to stay.
They sent me contract saying I would lose deposit when I initially made contact about flights and covaid, but that is ok as knew we would

We have recently cancelled our villa for end of June and thd owners were fantastic ... we asked if we could push back the date to pay the balance which they said was fine ... then we realised this Covid 19 wasnt just going away overnight and we didnt want to take a chance going so i contacted Jackie again letting her know and she refunded our deposit on the same day. A lovely lady and if we ever go back, will definitely look JP villas up again x

Our villa owner was fantastic too, held off paying balance until we knew if flights were going which are now cancelled. They offered to rebook us for 2021 and transfer balance across which we have done. I think lots of villas will have high occupancy next year to make up for lack of business in 2020.
