Mobile Balance for Sept due in a week

P&O, 1 week from Southampton on Ventura to Guernsey, Spain and Portugal.

Having a big deliberation about whether to pay.

Hoping it still runs, and there is no quarantine

So mine for a Disney cruise from Southampton is due by Thursday. I paid it off. My theory is things will be in such a state of flux that we just wont know until nearer the time. I'm even planning on booking tours this week. Its a hard one though as I don't think any of us really know.

I’ve got til Saturday to decide, but I think we’ll prob do the same thing. Such an odd time isn’t it? X

Completely! Things could be so different in a month as a month ago I didn't think we'd be starting to ease lock down so I feel like you can't really predict and may as well plan just incase

I would say if you’re prepared to travel if the cruise is running, then I’d pay the balance. If they do have to cancel, they will offer 125% cruise credit or a full refund - I had 2 booked which were cancelled, totalling 9 nights - I’ve been able to rebook for a 13 night Canaries cruise sailing late October - keeping my fingers crossed for that one!

I’m prepared to travel, esp as it’s only a week out of Southampton, but we’re a little concerned about the quarantine being in place, we have horses and dogs and jobs. Staying at home wouldn’t be a bit easy...

Have you seen BBC news today? They are looking at how to reduce the 14 day period from the looks of it as early as 20th July so I think by then you should be OK or at least that's what I'm going with.

That puts a different spin on things. I am debating now whether I need to get up at 5am on Thursday to book my excurions for my October cruise or not. I doubt DCL will announce before then if they are cancelling
