Overnight stay at heathrow any suggestions

As it looks like I could possibly be flying with virgin from Heathrow now and not Gatwick can anyone recommend hotels close to airport with or without parking for a stay the night before. Do they do twilight check in at Heathrow or was it just gatwick? Also am I right in thinking they don’t have V-room at Heathrow. Thank you for any advice all my plans were originally flying from Gatwick.

I’ve asked the same on the accommodation board, there are a few answers there.

I can’t see twilight check in coming back myself

No to twilight check in I am afraid.

We have stayed many times at the Premier Inn in Bath Road. Serviced by a bus route that drops off at Terminal 3 where Virgin fly from.

Good hotel, good restaurant as well. They do a meal deal that includes an evening meal and buffet breakfast.

Cant fault them!

Premier Inn terminal 4 easy to transfer to other terminals, especially if they decide to move to terminal 3 ..they also have a large restaurant and an on site 24 hour Costa coffee

Parking available via Maple Manor who pick up the car from the underground car park at the premier Inn

Have used them three times and never had an issue

We use the park and stroll option

Just a head up for anyone travelling soon, T3 is currently closed and flights are departing T2. No date has been set for it’s reopening

Our ls Tay we stayed at PI T4, it was perfect and cheap too. You can get to any of the other terminals quickly and easily, far more so than staying off site like we used to

We’ve stayed at the Hilton - Double Tree on Bath road. We are Hilton honours members so it makes sense to pick that hotel for us, but there are numerous hotels along bath road and all are an easy bus ride from the airport. Premier inn and travel lodge are along bath road too.

We have used the Park Inn and Renaissance on the Bath Road which are convenient for T3 as the TfL buses (free to use) go to T3 transport hub. Last year we were able to get a very good rate for Premier Inn at T4 which is tunnel through to terminal. Hotel is a bit older than the new one at North Terminal Gatwick but still very comfortable with a large restaurant. If flying from a different terminal you can still use the underground to connect free of charge.

Paid £30 at the PI on Bath Road last November, immediately next door to Purple Parking, see HERE - very quiet, clean hotel, overnight PI parking is £10 so perhaps cheaper to park at Purple and take their shuttle the following morn, otherwise London buses to the terminals run from the bus stop outside the hotel. Fare is £1.50pp with contactless card, hubs travelled free using his Durham bus pass.

We’ve stayed at the Premier Inn at Terminal 4 and it’s walkable under a covered walkway into the airport - easy to get to other terminals. We’ve just booked it again for March for £39 a room with free cancellation.
