Have just read elsewhere that CM's are asking for proof of residency at the Poly before you can go on the beach to watch Wishes

I'm not surprised by this, I think it was just a matter of time before they imposed this once they started construction on the DVC extension there.

I'm not surprised either.
Don't know how busy the beach gets as I have never been, but I'd be highly miffed if I'd shelled out to stay at that resort and couldn't move for people who weren't staying there, just coming to watch Wishes.
I think perhaps people dining there ought to be allowed though, if they wish.

Not surprised - what with the Volcano Pool refurb and all that building of the Villas for DVC there can't be too much beach to stand on.

Completely agree. There have even been reports that patio furniture was nabbed from nearby rooms! Poly guests and Poly TS diners with receipts seems fair. I wonder how it will evolve.

We were staying in Tokelau and on the 3rd and 4th July, all our patio furniture was moved in to our room by staff as they were concerned where it might end up if left out.
