Hi anyone know if Alamo Brits etc have any sales during the Xmas period. Want to book for May but seem to have gone up a lot.

Prices are up due to the poor exchange rate, cannot see any rise in the near future we
returned from Florida last week and notwithstanding the exchange rates prices were up about 10%.Once you factor the exchange rate you are looking at approx 30% increase |

OP. Second post today where May prices have been mentioned. I was shocked when I checked for somebody else how much they have gone up in recent weeks.
No sales that I have seen albeit prices surge all the time. All I can suggest is check 2 or 3 times a week and if no change up or down by mid January I would bite the bullet and book. At least with Brits you know if they come down you can get the difference refunded without any hassle. I hate to say it, and I wont use them, but Dollar are cheaper.

Booked a 'Standard SUV' with Alamo Brits for 14th > 28th May 17.
Paid £319... checked every couple of days and this price held until a couple of weeks ago. Price today is £513. Glad I booked when I did.

I'm with you on this OP, it was my post that Mr Tom is referring to, and as he rightly says, the increase is shocking!
I too am only now ready to book and kicking myself for not doing it earlier, but the price had stayed the same for about six months and would have already taken the hit with the exchange rate some time ago, or so I thought. We will both be keeping our fingers crossed!
