Parking at SeaWorld can range from $22-$30, depending on when you go. FYI, the sky tower is usually $2 as well but can go up to $3 if the park is busy.

Does everybody in the car need to have a ticket that includes the free parking? Was this checked as you drove in?

No only one person needs a ticket for free parking. They scan your ticket and give you a receipt.
