MDE linking issues... a timeline for you.

My apologies. I thought you had posted that you could only link yours after you'd had the email, hence me posting that I'd linked before my email arrived. I obviously mis-read.

I booked a BC stay a couple weeks ago but its not linked yet, I'm wondering if it'll show when I've been this year or if 2 years bookings can both show at once? I'm not fussy really purely because before the BC stay we have 5 nights SSR which will just be confirmed when were away this time so no hopes of that showing before Oct/Nov time.

I got all excited at this post, we booked 2 days before you, so tried to link; no luck. however we have since got our "hooray you're coming" email. Still unable to link I contacted them via email the day before we got the email, and they still haven't responded. I'm hoping when they respond it will get sorted. incidentally we can view our booking on disneyholidays.co.uk

I rang the UK freephone Disney number today as we booked in April for October 2018 and have had the Hooray you're coming email but still not linking to MDE.
The cm gave me the number beginning 12 and it linked straight away, all showing correctly on MDE.
I know we have ages to go but its nice to see it all on MDE.

Agreed, I did the same, again a 12 number and all linked, our 1 year old has a magicband to customise, is that normal? I assumed she wouldn't be getting one as she doesn't get a ticket.

We booked direct with Disney in April for October next year, hopefully we'll get our email soon - not that we can do anything yet but it's nice to see it all linked up!

That's exactly what I did back in May.

it depends who you get through to. the first three people i spoke to offered no help at all (both in the us and uk) and finally took an email to disney uk to get it linked at 492 days out.
To be fair I've not looked at it since the day it got linked but once you book you want to see it. reckon the americans must think we're mad when we call the MDE helpline 18 months in advance.
