Thanks so much for the tip off, Ive just booked our car hire (RAV 4) for £613 for 25 days in August - cheapest by far like for like Thank you Ciano x

Interested in this answer also, it says it here on this page but can find nothing in terms and condition where I would prefer to see it.
Would like to book now and then just keep and eye on the usual Alamo/brits and cancel if it's cheaper elsewhere.

Im holding out to see if Alamo brits reduce prices. Going in may and ideally don't want to pay more than around £250 for a standard SUV

They will come down but not that much £350 in May would be a good price.
