Parents and friends have used it, just a suggestion

Only difference I can see is Alamo were calling a Ford Fusion a full size and US were calling the Ford Taurus the full size.
US Rentacar now wanting £378 for this same deal.

For anybody still wanting to use the link I posted on the first page I've found a way of guaranteeing success without the possibility of being rumbled about not having a travel industry ID. Simply use Savetime and Skip The Kiosk. The printed coupon that you present at the exit barrier has no information on it regarding any special rates, simply the price paid. I'm no longer with BA but with another UK airline and I've put a Virgin flight into my travel details, that should confuse enough!

Just had a look at your link and it only offers me pay on collection for my dates from Miami, so would not be able to use skip the kiosk.

That's weird because the whole point of going straight to the garage is you DO pay on collection. I've submitted details using the Alamo sticky, including licence & credit card details and registered for Savetime & Skip the Kiosk. Maybe it's because you're so far from your booking window

As an aside, it always pays to book your vehicle as early as possible. We have a car booked for 25 days from Miami at a price of 597. It is now over 1200!

Still about the cheapest way of doing it though. Extra drivers and free tank included and a lovely big loophole that means nobody would ever have to produce any sort of airline ID. As Tel N Kel points out the rate is for retired staff so unless they're expected to take some sort of proof of pension this is nicely wide open for abuse

Something appears to be broken when you link to the url, just try typing it in manually and it works fine, tried it on Firefox & Safari to make sure it wasn't just showing me a cached version
