Alamobrits gone up over £100 in a week

ah I knew I should have booked last week, when prices were £411 for a 7 seater mini van for 12 nights in may over £500 now!

Any good deals at the moment elsewhere?

Just booked flights for July (after saying I wouldn't, again) and cannot believe the car prices.

I have never paid anything anywhere near what is being quoted at the moment.

Looks like I'll be holding off for a while!

Have you looked at Discount Florida car hire.
We found them to be cheaper. Plus as time gets on if your price gets less they reduce it. ( you must check it on the site yourself then contact them)

Thanks for the reply, I have and they are the cheapest along with Virgin.

However, at £573 for a premium & £590 for an SUV its a big jump from the £326 I paid last year, even with the currency drop.

I just book the car when I confirm that I'm going knowing that if I check back regularly the price will drop.

Mine went up for April too!

I'm waiting until January, hopefully they are putting prices up to have have new year sale, fingers crossed.

I just saved money on Disney tickets so money saved might have to go towards the car.

I booked an SUV with Alamo Brits months ago at £453 it had been £420 the week before but I dawdled. But every time it goes down I amend the booking and my last amendment went down to £371. It might be worth booking and keeping an eye on it, not worth the risk of it going higher.
