Alamobrits gone up over £100 in a week

Good idea, do they refund the money back to the card each time? and can you do it online or do you have to ring them?

You can amend your booking on line and the difference is refunded to your credit card.

Just checked and the economy class car has gone down £52 for my dates and the others have stayed around the same.

For Alamo, someone mentioned that you cannot edit the dates once booked, can you change the vehicle class once booked?

Yes. I upgraded ours after we'd booked. They just charged my credit card the extra.

Given the discount is only 10% I always book the pay on arrival option then keep checking regularly for changes to the price and if it drops I rebook.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't pre-book with Alamo if they see a decent price given you can cancel for free for no charge or receive a full refund
