Not quite. We did Manchester to Dublin via Heathrow on day two (day one was travel to airport), Dublin to Boston via Heathrow on day three followed by Boston to Orlando via Philadelphia on day four. What can I say - I like flying. I also have an 11 month old in tow!

The MAN/LHR/DUB return was an avios redemption.

The DUB/LHR/BOS/PHL/MCO // MIA/LHR//DUB was around £1k per person in club world but I used avios to upgrade into First on the long haul flights. This is a real treat for us (to go with the burgers!) 😀 But it isn't costing much more than a direct in economy.
