It’s liquids and gels.

There was a lady in front of me at security who had to throw away some Vaseline. She wasn’t very happy about it but her liquids bag was huge and she could only keep what she could fit in a standard sized bag.

With my daughters diabetes when she catches a virus or infection she is seriously ill.
We wipe the seat, tray, back of the seat that facing us, arm rests etc basically everything we can with dettol wipes. We use anti bacterial hand gel too.
First response Basel spray and vasaline.
In the weeks before travel we all take berrocca vitamins too.
I wish I could take a hand held vacuum! The last time we flew with virgin the floor (upstairs in the bubble, back rows) were disgusting. I don’t think they had even attempted to clean up, chewed and spat out sweets, crumbs, all kinds of nastiness! I told the staff who gave me a plastic bag to put the rubbish in 😟
The trays were disgusting too, the muck that came off on our wipes was skin crawling!
I know flights have a fast turn around but for the cost of the seat I would rather like it to be clean

Yep, I wipe stuff down on the flight too, especially for the kids. Our last flight still had sweetie wrappers on the floor, so not been cleaned too well.
I will sometimes wipe down tables in restaurants, but one lady outside the Main Street plaza had a big bottle of sanitiser wiped the table, chair seats, backs and legs, and brolly stick, my effort was brushing some old crumbs onto the floor 😳

I have never put my wipes, gels, lip salve or hair wax in a bag - in hundreds of flights never been a problem - I fact I only put my hand sanitizers in the plastic bag and been told recently no need to to that at LAX (but every airport seems different these days ... )

Great tip. There’s very little room in my liquids bag as it is

I think it just depends on the security officer..seems to change all the time and I’d love to take a few cleaning supplies but I had to decided last time and foundation was more important

I’ll buy some anti bac wipes after security this time

I believe it is and I’d never get through with that... I thought they had to be those small clear plastic bags?
