I always wipe down everything when we get on the plane - tray, TV screen, armrests, belt and buckle and the headrest (VH ones are a fake leather rather than fabric). It's amazing how much dirt comes off them. Each trip to the toilet is followed up with hand washing then sanitizer once I'm back at my seat and again before eating anything. Don't really care what anyone thinks, as at least I know I've done everything I can to avoid picking something up on our way to Disney.

I have always cleaned down plane and rail way tray backs the muck use loads of hand gel when out and about as well especially before eating or drinking

I dont use gloves but i do wipe before putting anything out of my bag and getting settled. last time my sister gave me funny looks as i was wiping down the tray backs and went a bit green when i showed her the colour of the wipe after

i dont take a big packet of wipes i put some into a small plastic bag into my liquids bag to clean everything down with on a plane.

always take wet wipes and hand gel to use before eating and coming back from the loo

not sure about the face mask as you would get some odd looks however on the last flight there were at least 3 people coughing their lungs up and I got a cold for the first week so might give it a go!

It looks like it is from LAX so she will have Pre TSA and as such wouldn’t have had to have had them in a plastic bag or remove them for screening

Love that she can put lipstick from an airport tester on her lips, but can't sit in a plane seat without cleaning it!

Ahhhhh... the joys of pre TSA.. I wish we had a similar system in the UK. Or maybe we do and I’m just not elite enough for it

I've always taken wipes and clean everything that I can- seatbelts, trays, window blinds, air vents, tv.
As ex crew, I've seen all sorts of things on tray tables including babies nappies being changed on them.
I've also seen cleaners use the same dirty cloth on every tray table from the back of the aircraft to the front.🤢
