September at DLP?

Is someone going to visit DLP over the next weeks?
Self quarantine is not compulsory eg if you are visiting France from Switzerland or Germany or Italy...
From what I gathered, Covid19 situation is not that worse in France than in other EU countries.
Frankly speaking, I am afraid that Covid19 will STAY WITH US for many many months more, even all 2021 long.
Why can we visit Italy eg...but have to skip France Riviera...only few kilometres away from Italy-Liguria?
Is it REALLY a safety and health concern, or is it a political/economic game?
Sorry for ranting, I have "lost/cancelled" 5 trips so far...😥😥

I've given up an trying to understand the Governments "guidance" on the whole situation around quarantine/not quarantine...
Logic seems to have never been at the forefront of their thought process..
I'm beyoned the ranting stage of this and at the point of trying to forget about it and go about my daily business as best I can, avoiding shopping/enclosed spaces as I really don't want to have to remember to take a mask with me everywhere I go. It's far too depressing/annoying/restrictive...
Foreign travel for me and my family is off the agenda for at least 2020 and 2021. And, if at all possible my 2021 holiday plans will hopefully not be scuppered by the fact I have to book something fairly late in the day due to my DW not always being able to get her holidays approved very quickly...

I'm booked for mid-October, I have the time booked off work and can quarantine afterwards. Cases in France do seem to be going up quite steeply though but I'm hoping they'll get a handle on it before I go. I can move the trip if I need to though so I'm still going to wait and see what happens.
