We had them last time we visited at the end of August and felt they were really useful. I think we'll definitely factor in the cost of the hotel if we go for Universal.

Discovery Cove have an offer on at the moment, had been due to finish on 7th Sept but they extended the booking until 13th Sept. This is direct with their American site not the UK website.
Tickets are 100% refundable until 31 days before date and can also change date up to 48 hours before visit. There is a choice to pay in dollars or pounds but using our Halifax Clarity we saved £10 paying in dollars.

We had to make a choice between DC and Universal in 2018 - we didn't have as long as we normally would to do all 3.
We chose universal (2 adults), for us universal has more to do, we haven't done Busch and I'm wary of doing it because its far away to be ruined by Florida weather! We like the city walk offers things to do in the evening as well. We do really love DC, but on 'shorter' trips we lose DC for more disney days.
