Budget wise I think it's a no brainer. Harry Potter merch would suck us in too so think we'd spend more whilst there.
It's not all about money, I'd pay the extra if I felt it was worth it but we're on a Disney Cruise the 2nd week and that's not exactly cheap. If we can save on tickets and things the 1st week we could do an extra excursion or 2. |

I would do the DC package. We like Universal but love SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. I also hate simulators, which Universal have too many of. Just like being stuck in a giant corned beef can with a whole lot of sweaty people and shaken

Personally, I'd go to DC, SQ, BG etc.
Huge value for money on their Ultimate ticket. Plus it helps we love rollercoasters so SW and BG have some of the best, plus we love zoos and again SW and BG have loads of animal exhibits. The only downside is we prefer Volcano Bay to Aquatica but we always still go to Aquatica as well.

the last 2 weeks in august (once the US schools start) are generally much quieter so you may not need express passes

Aquatica used to be my favourite water park in Florida until Volcano Bay opened which is brilliant! I'm a huge Universal fan too I always stay onsite. The new Hagrid's ride was my favourite ride of the holiday last year and the new Jurassic World coaster they are building now looks great too.
But Seaworld & Busch Gardens are currently building some new coaster which look great. I think you will probably get better value for money doing Discovery Cove. Busch Gardens has some fantastic coasters and you can do a Safari where you can feed the giraffes. |

You definitely don’t need express passes the end of August.
